Image Skincare ‘Clear Cell’ Tonic

Hi everyone,

Sorry its been a while since I put up a new post. My laptop is trying to leave this life- it is currently in a coma, and is being looked after at a repair shop. In the meantime, I am struggling with my husband’s old broken laptop.  So please bear with me.

Also, thank you to everyone who participated in the Giveaway, and congrats to our winners! I had a blast doing it, and I cannot wait for the next one. It will most likely be the same format- guessing one item in the package. So keep reading the site, and follow me on IG and Twitter for a chance to win some amazing goodies. Did you see the contents of the package?

  • Goat’s Milk Lotion from Luxé Beauty Lounge
  • Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay
  • Organic Turmeric (More on this later)
  • Baked Bronzing Powder in ‘Fiji’ from Pibona Cosmetics
  • Plantain Chips
  • Gossy Spring Water.

Just a few of my favorite things. Thanks again everyone!

So today’s post is about the Image Skincare toner I talked about HERE . I discovered this gem at Beauty Africa this year. I had been on the market for a new toner for a while, and I had since many good reviews about Image Skincare in general. ANDDDDD they gave shoppers an awesome discount at the exhibition (hurray!).

What is it? It is a Salicylic/Glycolic Acid toner. This is the first time I’d heard of a Salicylic-Glycolic acid  combo EVER, and was probably the main selling point for me because they are both powerful ingredients for acne prone skin.

I’ve been using it everyday for 3 weeks, and there has been a marked improvement with my blemishes and overall skin tone. It STINGS though, so brace yourself! It is NOT for sensitive skin types.

I really like it. My Proactiv toner (salicylic acid) had started to fail me, so maybe the additional kick the glycolic acid provides is what my skin has been missing. I will most likely repurchase.

Have you tried this or any product from the Image Skincare range?

Let me know,

P.S- The full Image Skincare range is available at Laserderm Clinics- 240C Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

    Hi Nicole,

I recently discovered Pixi Toner. It has extremely good reviews. I struggled to find negative reviews. The company specialises in other amazing products but their toner happens to be the belle of the ball. Amazeballs doesn’t begin to describe it, and importantly, it has been sanctioned by Caroline Hirons.

Hi Ari, I too have recently gotten my hands on Glow Tonic. An angel sent from Heaven above got it for me like a week ago- it had been on my wish list for ages! I also first heard about it from Queen Hirons. I haven’t been using it consistently because I’m trying out like 4 new things as we speak. I really really like it though, its effective but mild. Soothing even. Proper review on it soon xx

I really didn’t like the wash, too harsh for facial skin, so in my opinion that’s a no-no. I tried the antioxidant serum and I must say Ihave gotten fewer breakouts. I use this and skip moisturizing, havnt had no zit face in a long time.

All I want for Christmas is that Pixi Glow Tonic! Like, I need it in my life. I’m hoping, praying and believing God for my own angel from heaven to gift me with a bottle. Yes, just one bottle. Please.
As to the posted product, sounds promising. Will look it up. Thank you for this post. And yea, I noticed you have bn stalling on posts. I thought I missed out on a lot but I see I didn’t. Biko do and fix ya laptop!

This toner is pretty good. It stings, but you use ACV quite a lot so your skin will okay. I will most likely repurchase actually, as it has become a staple product for me. And I know re: my laptop. Please help me beg Santa for a new one! xx
