04 Nov Image Skincare ‘Clear Cell’ Tonic
Sorry its been a while since I put up a new post. My laptop is trying to leave this life- it is currently in a coma, and is being looked after at a repair shop. In the meantime, I am struggling with my husband’s old broken laptop. So please bear with me.
Also, thank you to everyone who participated in the Giveaway, and congrats to our winners! I had a blast doing it, and I cannot wait for the next one. It will most likely be the same format- guessing one item in the package. So keep reading the site, and follow me on IG and Twitter for a chance to win some amazing goodies. Did you see the contents of the package?
- Goat’s Milk Lotion from Luxé Beauty Lounge
- Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay
- Organic Turmeric (More on this later)
- Baked Bronzing Powder in ‘Fiji’ from Pibona Cosmetics
- Plantain Chips
- Gossy Spring Water.
Just a few of my favorite things. Thanks again everyone!
So today’s post is about the Image Skincare toner I talked about HERE . I discovered this gem at Beauty Africa this year. I had been on the market for a new toner for a while, and I had since many good reviews about Image Skincare in general. ANDDDDD they gave shoppers an awesome discount at the exhibition (hurray!).
What is it? It is a Salicylic/Glycolic Acid toner. This is the first time I’d heard of a Salicylic-Glycolic acid combo EVER, and was probably the main selling point for me because they are both powerful ingredients for acne prone skin.
I’ve been using it everyday for 3 weeks, and there has been a marked improvement with my blemishes and overall skin tone. It STINGS though, so brace yourself! It is NOT for sensitive skin types.
I really like it. My Proactiv toner (salicylic acid) had started to fail me, so maybe the additional kick the glycolic acid provides is what my skin has been missing. I will most likely repurchase.
Have you tried this or any product from the Image Skincare range?
Let me know,
P.S- The full Image Skincare range is available at Laserderm Clinics- 240C Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
