05 Aug Madame Hair Clip In Extensions Review
I received these lovely clip ins a while ago, but I wanted to try them for a few weeks before writing a review on them.
These could not have arrived at a better time because
1) I had been rocking a 26 inch U-Part wig for the better part of this year. And while it was very cute and very Naomi, it is definitely not practical for this heatwave (I still can’t believe it) in London and for my No-Nanny life abroad with 2 rugrats.
2)I’ve also come to realise in my old age that I definitely look better with my hair pulled away from my face. (Note to self- Mummy is always right!)
3) I had been VERY eager to try out the oh-so-popular Three Tiered Ponytail (pictured above, which is my new signature hair style btw)
I really like clip ins because they are extremely versatile and you can create all sorts of hairstyles with them (as opposed to weaves and wigs, unless its a Vixen weave actually).
The Madame Hair Customer Service was absolutely amazing! Very professional and friendly. I got sent the wrong colour initially (my fault) and I was able to get the correct colour sent out to me in 48 hours. The set I got are the Textured Deluxe Clip In Extensions which are 100% Remy hair. They have a light Yaki texture which is great for hair that isn’t bone straight so it goes better with your hair (which is a common problem Black Women have with clip ins). They can be curled or straightened silky straight so you can style as you please. They are a whopping 165 grams which is pretty generous for clip-ins (I don’t even use all of it to be honest). They are super easy to install and take out, and there are lots of videos on their youtube channel on how to style, install or take care of your extensions.
N.B- After 3 weeks of everyday use. Thick from weft to tip (I hate scanty thin tips!!) and super soft!
So if you are interested in good quality, affordable Remy hair- Madame Hair is worth checking out. The company was also kind enough to offer a 10% discount across the ENTIRE website (yayyyyy!) for TheNicoleCode readers- simply use NICOLECODE at Checkout.
